Results You Can See and They Can Feel

Benefits of Massage Therapy

Just like humans, pets can hold tension and pain in their bodies and can benefit from massage just as we can. Massage can help increase endurance and flexibility, energy and comfort, performance and socialization, help tone muscle and increase range of motion, build trust and bonding, bring oxygenation to the tissues and release toxins, as well as relaxation and body awareness. Massage can decrease pain and stress, reduce recovery time, help heal after an injury or surgery, help with anxiety or fear by building trust, and ease discomfort from aging joints.

Initial 2 Visits: $95

Includes the first meet & greet and our second visit.

Meet & Greet will be where you will be present to discuss your dogs history, any current issues, and what your goal for your dog is. I’ll perform my initial assessment, introduce touch and build trust with your dog. This first session will be about an hour depending on your dogs comfort level and when massage will be introduced. We will set up our second visit, which will be where I’ll preform our first full massage and we’ll discuss a treatment plan. You may be present for their initial massage but will be asked to settle in and relax near by. Dogs may struggle if you are moving about or being watched, so reading or working on something nearby will help your pup settle in and give us the best chance to build trust and relaxation with each other.

Additional Information:

Massage sessions take place in your home or a designated area where your dog is most comfortable. Session times may vary depending on your dogs tolerance level on the day of their massage. It is important to remember that dog massage is not like human massage. Dogs communicate their needs with their body language. It is not uncommon for them to get distracted or wiggly during their session. It is normal for them to get up, stretch or change positions during their massage. They also may need a short bathroom or hydration break as well. The goal is to provide your dog with a positive experience and to never force them to accept a massage. Your dogs comfort is my first priority.

Please note: Pet massage is a holistic supplemental service and is not to be used as a replacement for veterinary care.
